4 Ways You Can Enhance Your Software Supply Chain Security

The best way to avoid dependency attacks is by using scoped packages that lock the namespace of a package so that it can be mapped to a specific user thus eliminating the possibility of substitution. Additionally, updating the libraries only when required, introducing package reviewing, and establishing strict dependency management practices can further help reduce dependency attacks.

A software supply chain is a large, complicated system consisting of multiple steps involving multiple vendors. Hence, it’s impractical to think that it will ever be completely secure.
